The End

Sadly, the adventure of my 2012 Mazda 6 came to an end. Another driver pulled out and hit me head on. I figured it would be fitting to update this blog, though sparse it might be, to make some bookends out of it.

Every ending has a new beginning however, and I just picked up my new 2015 Mazda 6 today, so the adventure begins anew! :)

Still Going Fine

Car is still running well! That "new car smell" is just about gone, but I'm still happy with everything. I'm still getting used to how much lower it is vs. my old Saturn Vue, and also how long it is in the front.

Now that I've had the car a month or so, that will probably be it as far as posts go, either until something goes wrong (knock on wood) or I happen to remember just to make another update.

We took a weekend trip down to Toledo, a "mini spring break", if you will. We took the Mazda 6, a little less than two hours each way (plus some back and forth in-between), and everything went well. The one aspect I was concerned about was how comfortable the car would be on longer drives (hard to test at the dealership), but I'm happy to say it was a comfortable ride. Now I just need to figure out how to open the trunk without the key fob...

My New Car

Welcome! This is a blog I'm trying out for my new car...which if it wasn't obvious, is a 2012 Mazda 6. I'm going to try to be realistic about how often I can/will update, so I wouldn't be surprised if weeks/months go by between posts. The goal though, is to give an overview of my journey with my new car.

So without further adieu, here it is!

She's a very sweet looking ride. I'm coming from a 2002 Saturn Vue (which was very good to me over 7.5 years), so we'll see what happens. It's definitely a more sporty ride, much lower to the ground. I like it so far, granted that's after only one day. I'll post an update in the future.
